	Angela and I began talking to each other after being introduced through an unorthodox version of meeting people, online. Back in 2004, meeting people online was not the most conventional way to get to know somebody. A good friend of mine suggested that I give it a shot after enduring several false starts and misses with ladies in the more common social environments. Once the intial connection was made, Angie and I began a week long discussion over MSN that lasted into the wee hours of the night. After a week of talking, I was prepared to ask her to meet me for a coffee. Well! She surprised me with a one-up plan; a dinner date. Quickly agreeing, the first date was set up at North 44 restaurant in downtown Toronto. Our meal was wonderful and since we had been chatting for a week in advance, the conversation was great! Being that we were both shy people, knowing a lot about each other beforehand made for a great evening. The night concluded with a first kiss at Rhododendron Park in Mississauga with the sound of live jazz filling the evening air down at the 2004 Port Credit Jazz Festival. This hopeful "perfect couple" had a perfect first date. After a very short amount of time, I knew she was the one for me. Over the years we have forged the beginnings of a wonderful life, rich with travel, great family, friends and experiences that we both share and love. In early summer of 2008, I knew it was time for me to take the big plunge and get that engagement ring. We decided to take a trip to New York City in August, and for 3 days I needed to find a way to hide the ring box. Who knew it would be so difficult to hide a tiny box?! Finally after dinner in Times Square we took an evening stroll down 6th Avenue and across to the Empire State Building. After standing in line for about an hour to get up to the top, I did my best to keep calm and my palms dry. Finally, on the observation deck I found a tiny space along the guardrail amongst the people, got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes! Are we Mississauga's perfect couple? Maybe! While there is no such thing as perfect, a strong loving relationship allows you to set goals to achieve something perfect, and as a couple, we have set those goals. While there will always be challenges, it is those challenges and difficulties that will pull two people together to work through the bad, while enjoying the best life has to offer. Over the last 5 years, Angie and I have experienced a lot and are eagerly looking forward to our wedding date, scheduled for May 29, 2010

Time to say thanks already? Is the contest nearing its end? Does that mean we are about to win and now have to take ALL of our voters along with us on our honeymoon vacation?!

Well no, but we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our friends, family, co-workers and random websurfers that managed to make their way over to the site and cast a vote for this hopeful winning couple.

So, after 5 weeks of harassing almost everyone we know, its time to crown a winning couple. Based on what we've read, all the contestants here really care and love each other and we would like to congratulate everyone.

Good luck and Happy New Year. For most of us, 2010 is a start of a very new and exciting life! For those contestants marrying in 2011, congrats to you too ;)
